Research Group

Our group members affectionately refer to themselves as "The Beam Team." While most of their time is spent working normal hours (whatever that means for grad students) in our lab at Colorado School of Mines, each member also spends several weeks each year performing in situ diffraction experiments at national user facilities, such as the Cornell High Energy Synchrotron Source, the Advanced Photon Source at Argonne National Laboratory, and the Los Alamos Neutron Science Center. These experiments run 24/7, usually for at least a week at a time, so the group members take pride in their comradery and cooperation in working together to support each others' projects during these periods
